Avocado Almond Coconut Smoothie Recipe

FUN TIP: You may already know that avocados can be cultivated in tropical climates. But did you know that they’re also cultivated in Mediterranean climates? There are excellent avocados from Chania, Crete, in food markets in Greece. The largest avocado producer in the world is Mexico, and other significant producers are Peru, Indonesia, Chile, and California.

Ingredients

  • 1 large ripened avocado
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 6 Tbsp raw Greek honey
  • 1½ cups unsweetened almond or coconut milk
  • 1 cup baby spinach leaves
  • ½ cup crushed ice for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. If desired, add ice and blend until your desired smoothness.
  3. Serve immediately and enjoy!
