Whipped Spicy Feta Dip
This vibrant and spicy feta dip is a perfect blend of roasted peppers, creamy feta, and zesty Greek oregano. Serve with toasted pita wedges or crudités for a delightful appetizer or snack that captures the essence of Mediterranean flavors.
Ingredients
- 1 green Anaheim or long Italian frying pepper seeded and chopped
- 1-3 fresh red chili peppers roasted, peeled, seeded (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon dried Greek oregano
- 1/2 lb./440 g. Greek feta crumbled
- 4 – 6 tablespoons extra virgin Greek olive oil
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Strained juice of 1/2 a lemon
- Hot sauce optional, to taste
Instructions

Mash peppers and oregano in a food processor.

Add feta and process until smooth, adding olive oil as needed. Add lemon juice in increments, tasting after each addition.

Adjust heat level with black pepper and hot sauce if desired.
