This is the first Easter vacation we have not spent on Ikaria. No complaints! We’ve been in Tokyo, invited by Mr. Marios Mathioudakis, Economic Officer of the  Greek Embassy, and Active-Japan, which imports Greek olive oil, avgotaraho, olive leaf tea, and more, to promote the healthy foods of Greece and the longevity cuisine of Ikaria in a series of events.

It’s been an amazing and most edifying trip. The Japanese are tremendously interested in healthy foods and Greece provides all that’s needed for people all over the world to eat well and enjoy life.

Tomorrow, April 22nd 2014, we head to the Hattori Cooking School for two classes.
